L'ATELIER MAGIQUE DE JEAN HUGO

With the extension of the superb exhibition Jean Hugo, le regard magique. His life in Lunel from 1920 to 1984, until January 2025, the Musée Médard and the association are offering the public a new designed itinerary, this time in the museum, around the works on display and the artist?s studio, reconstituted in the museum. Hosted by Marie-José Doutres, "L?atelier magique: dans le regard de Jean Hugo" (The Magic Workshop: in the eyes of Jean Hugo), a workshop for adults, takes the public into the painter?s creative universe. Sketching a modern landscape in small format, with multiple windows like a storyboard, participants will use pencil and gouache to reveal light and contrast.
