EXPOSITION “A FLEUR DE PEAU”

Cultural
Following on from the first two editions, organized as part of Montpellier's bid to become
for the title of European Capital of Culture 2028, LineUP is renewing its collaboration with the
Lunel and Lunel Agglo for the 3rd edition of the "Contre-courant - Art & Exploration
Exploration".
Clara Langelez immerses us in this new exhibition in unison with her "skin-deep" sensibility. "I wanted to put light where there isn't any, to talk about what can't be seen". To do this, she tries to leave room for the expression of the sensitive, to welcome her sensations without filter or detour. Mastery takes a back seat to something else, a subtle material that seems alive, raw and sincere.
She takes us on a journey into a timeless rift, where noise fades and the world slows down, plunging us into the depths of intimacy. Poetry, air to breathe and a sincere desire to take us into a space that beckons contemplation. In this space-time, the invisible is tinged with colors and materials, like a figurative expansion of our sensitive bodies. Matter is set in motion, the infinitely small becomes infinitely large, and realities are inverted to give us access to something else. A harmony on the edge between gentleness, fragility and untamed strength. In parallel with the exhibition, a new urban art fresco will be painted on the walls of the Lunel wastewater treatment plant. This will complement the frescoes already created by artists Elisa Capdevila and Zoer in 2023, and will continue the process of enhancing the banks of the Lunel canal with an artistic proposal based on the theme of water.
