LE SECRET DES SECRETS

Jason Gray, son of the curator of the British Library, has just buried his father, a scholar who spent his life studying the texts of the alchemists. After the ceremony, Jason meets Susan, his archivist girlfriend, and Billy, a young paraplegic actor, in the library café. Megan, a history student, joins the group. She gives Jason an envelope from the deceased. It contains neither a will nor a last message, but simply a code: 1036.a.38. For the young men, it's the start of an investigation, if not a quest, through books and parchments, from London to Moscow and from the 17th century to the present day. Will the Philosopher?s Stone reveal its secret?
