The town of Lunel wanted to honor the comic strip, exploring the inventiveness and creativity of the 9th art and the artists, authors and scriptwriters who bring it to life.
Ah, the Belle Epoque! It evokes art nouveau, universal exhibitions, the beginnings of the automobile,
aeronautics and the cinematograph? but it was also a troubled period.
In the dark alleys of Montmartre, swindlers, crooks and marauders of all kinds were on the lookout for a nasty trick. Fortunately, some intrepid righters of wrongs are on hand to ensure the peace and quiet of beautiful ladies with hats and handsome gentlemen with moustaches. We call them the Spectaculars!
