PESCALUNE ON DISPLAY!

For the past four years, to coincide with the launch of the temporada, the town of Lunel has held an outdoor exhibition on the gates of the Parc Jean Hugo, focusing on Camargue traditions. For the 2025 edition, the town wanted to give a nod to the unmissable "La Pescalune" festival. Indeed, Lunel?s summer festival, rich in tradition, pays tribute to local culture, celebrating
its aficion for the bouvine.
Every year, in the middle of July, the town stages a series of events centered on the bulls and horses of the Camargue. With a varied program, to the sound of local penas, the festivities take place in a lively and convivial atmosphere, to the delight of all. To publicize this event, which dates back to the 1860s, posters are published for the occasion, featuring colorful visuals inviting locals and vacationers alike to join the world of "festeja"
to join the world of the "festejaïres*". This new exhibition is an invitation to step back in time, allowing some to share memories and others to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of the Pescalune.
Exhibition opening on Sunday April 13 at 11:30 am at the Francis San Juan bullring.
