La Volta's first fine exhibition of the year, featuring three highly talented artists.
Laure Boin - painting, drawing, sculpture and installations.
A contemporary artist from the Var region, she is known for her iconoclastic "Bondieuseries", Animus, Cévennes landscapes and greenery, encravatés sheep and ephemeral installations.
Laure is currently preparing several exhibitions featuring totally new and unexpected works.
Guy Frédéricq - Sculptures in pure or mixed materials: wood, metal, stone.
Guy describes himself as self-taught: "My inspirations and my sculptures have been nourished by my travels and the trades I have practiced,
the encounter with materials and people. I spent my youth in Aix-en-Provence. At the age of 14, I began making miniature sculptures with an opinel, in wood
wood, bone, ivory and coral."
Marc Paraskeva - Silver photography
A classically trained photographer, I produce my work on medium-format negative. They are then printed on silver gelatin paper
on gelatin-silver paper under a traditional enlarger, without using digital techniques. My field, if it had to be qualified, would probably be
would probably be fine art photography combined with poetic documentary.
