Their first performance was intended to be a one-off event: for 30 years, the exception has been repeated night after night.
Les Tambours du Bronx were born in 1987 in Varennes-Vauzelles (Nièvre). A neighborhood of railway workers and blue-collar workers, this local Bronx generates a block, a pack in the middle of machines. The rhythm of the factory and workshops will be its own. The urban grid will become a motif, and the music
from their raw material, metal. Cans and mallets: "getting to the root of things". Having toured over 30 countries, represented France at the Bicentenary of the French Revolution, worked with the Orchestre Philharmonique des Pays de Loire and Les Voix Bulgares, as well as with laureates of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, Young Gods, Didier Wampas, Jaz Coleman, the Morvan brothers and Mathieu Kassovitz, and opened for prestigious artists such as Metallica, the French rock band Metallica and the French rock band Les Voix Bulgares, they have become a world reference in industrial and experimental percussionthey have opened for prestigious artists such as Metallica, Alice in Chains, Led Zeppelin, Korn, Johnny Hallyday and David Ghetta, and are back on the big stages of France (and Europe and beyond) with a brand-new metal tour, "Weapons of Mass Percussion", which has already won over audiences on its 1st date!
