Saturday, March 7, 2026, 9pm, Espace Brassens, Lunel, solidarity concert by Marla & the cool chicken.
From New Orleans to Harlem, the group Marla & the Cool Chicken draws its inspiration from the roots of swing, blues and gospel, blending in the energy of big bands to offer festive music designed for dancing, but just as seductive for the audience, who will have the pleasure of admiring a few couples of dancers from a Swing and Lindy Hop school. They'll liven up the evening and offer a brief initiation for those wishing to join them on the dance floor!
Since 2017, in concert or for a dance party, Marla & the Cool Chicken have been focusing on groove, alternating between elegant melodies, driving rhythms and lively improvisations. The Lunello branch of the Ligue contre le cancer wanted to share its enthusiasm for this dynamic group, who will make you see life "in blue"!
Doors open at 8 p.m. - Refreshment bar, savory platters, pastries.
