Its programming has been eagerly awaited for the past three years: here it is, the return of the Cuisinons romain! workshop, inviting you to rediscover the forgotten flavors of Antiquity.
After having explored everyday cooking and Roman street food, Ambrussum invites you to discover and concoct a selection of shareable dishes attested to in Latin texts: appetizers and tapas-style dishes, perfect for a convivial, historic aperitif dinner. This will be an opportunity to discuss the types of food consumed, the diversity of dietary practices and the historical and archaeological sources through which we can rediscover these flavors of the past.
With the help of reproductions of ceramic and metal kitchen utensils, you'll learn how to handle garum, honey, spices and aromatic herbs to create authentic recipes, revisited for our contemporary palates.

Everyone will take away their own preparations, and those who can't wait will be able to taste them on the spot!
