"Notre Jeunesse" by Olivier Saccomano
Thursday, October 15

This play by Olivier Saccomano is about today’s youth: those who are lost, who can’t make themselves heard, who aren’t recognized—and who don’t recognize themselves either.
We’re talking here about the invisible ones.
It’s a social drama that highlights the torment some young people sometimes experience. More broadly, it explores the loss of bearings and meaning that many of us have experienced at some point in our lives. The sense of injustice in the face of cruel situations, with no foreseeable resolution, no possibility of existing in the eyes of others, no weight.
Unfortunately, this is still a relevant issue today. It is political. It speaks to young people because it is about young people. It must resonate as if to tell them, “Look, you exist!”
