"L'illusion comique" by Pierre Corneille
Wednesday, January 13, 2027, at 8:00 p.m.

Pierre Corneille’s *L’Illusion comique* is a five-act play that blends comedy, tragedy, and baroque elements into a plot rich in twists and turns and narrative shifts.
An authoritarian father tracks down his runaway son. A magician reveals to him the son’s life, from his escape to his assassination. The father collapses, the curtain falls... and the son gets back up to count the takings. It was all just theater.
This trap set for the father is the playground of the Badinger Group, which questions obedience. An ode to youth that asks no permission to exist.
Between poetry and joyful chaos, the actors and actresses sweep you into a whirlwind of emotions, inventiveness, and mischief.
