"Maiador"

"Maiador" is a rural term from northeastern Brazil that refers to the place where livestock rests. Unlike a table, it is a shady spot in the field where the animals seek shelter from the midday sun.
"Maiador - spectacle" evokes the image of these moments of refuge and connection at the heart of everyday life. It recreates this "maiador," imbued with our personal and cultural references, in each new space. The audience, which surrounds us, is the fundamental element of this encounter. They are invited to share an experience inspired by Brazilian popular culture, blending acrobatics, contemporary dance, Chinese martial arts, and live music.
