What happens to archaeological artifacts after they’re discovered? Take a look behind the scenes at their second life!

Between 2016 and 2024, the excavations at Ambrussum revealed thousands of artifacts dating from the 4th century BCE to the 5th century CE. While unveiling these previously unseen artifacts to the public for the first time, the exhibition highlights a year of exceptional work in the restoration laboratories to give these Gallic and Roman treasures a new lease on life.
It offers a true immersion into the rigorous methodology that ensures the longevity of our heritage.
