PULSE - Where the Performing Arts Meet the Digital %E0 Lunel
First Edition %B7 September 26 & 27, 2026 %B7 Forecourt of the Ancienne Gare in Lunel
For two days, the plaza in front of the Ancienne Gare will become a space where bodies, images, sounds, and technology come together: shows, performances, screenings, a digital exhibition, music, and workshops invite the public to discover hybrid, immersive art forms accessible to everyone.
Fostering a Dialogue Between Life and Technology
For this first edition, PULSE explores “The Cycle”: the movement of bodies, the transformation of images, memory, transmission, and natural cycles… The festival does not seek to pit humans against machines, but rather to bring to light what connects them.
Highlights include: *Myselves*, by Cie K.Danse, in which a dancer interacts with a digital creature born from her movements and emotions; *Marée Haute*, by Cie LENCRE, at the crossroads of dance and theater; a digital exhibition by Temple Caché; and an electro DJ set accompanied by outdoor projections by Konpotek.
A festival that grows with its community
Organized by the Lunel-based association .RAW, in partnership with the Temple Caché studio, PULSE brings together local artists, organizations, young creators, and companies from other regions.
The festival also serves as a space for knowledge-sharing and participation. In April 2026, twelve young people aged 14 to 25 took part in CLIP? LAB, an audiovisual creation workshop led by professionals from Temple Caché. They conceived and produced the music video *Tard la nuit* by Lunel-based artist Jet Lag, which will have its premiere screening on Saturday, September 26.
On Sunday, the program continues with a storytime for children ages 6 and up, a sensory and interactive mapping activity around the Vidourle River, writing, painting, and theater workshops, and a musical performance by the saxophone quartet Pavillon de Nuit.
A first edition open to everyone
PULSE operates on a pay-what-you-can basis: everyone contributes according to their means, with no minimum amount required.
A refreshment stand and food trucks will be available on site throughout the weekend.
