After 18 months of work and restoration, the old Paulet Hotel, successively the town hall and the municipal library, became the Médard Museum.

After 18 months of restoration works, the former Paulet Hotel, also previously the town hall and municipal library, became the Musée Médard.
Built around the exceptional collection of the book lover Louis Médard, the museum is first and foremost a place to contemplate the books, history, art and occupations connected with written heritage.
From the municipal archives to the collection of 5,000 works donated by Louis Médard and the illustrated plates for “Les Oiseaux de Buffon”, more than 600 m² of space are dedicated to the exploration of books and their history.
Ample space has also been set aside for new technologies with touch-screen tablets, e-book readers and videos available to visitors for educational and demonstration purposes.
